AVISO PARA TODOS LOS LOCOS DE ALEGRIA

“¿Por qué buscan ustedes entre los muertos al que está vivo?” (Lucas 24, 1-12)

Se les avisa urgentemente a todos: “Locos de alegría, abandonar a toda prisa los sepulcros. Trabajando el optimismo y acogiendo la alegría verdadera.”

Recordemos que “La alegría no es barata”, que el optimismo tampoco. Ambos se construyen piedra por piedra. Tampoco olvidemos que “la alegría anda asediada por una oleada gigante de malas noticias globales y, lo que es peor, por una epidemia de pesimismo.” “La chispa de Coca Cola no vale.” Necesitamos trabajar en la construcción de una recia alegría y un combatiente optimismo que sepa resistir los ataques de la mentira y la oscuridad. No nos recostemos perezosamente sobre los muros de una Iglesia de la que sólo se oyen quejidos, porque eso no produce la alegría de la que habla el resucitado.”

“Es verdad que hay mucho sufrimiento en el mundo, que hasta el lenguaje sabe a pólvora, que el hambre es azote de media Humanidad y que la mala hierba sigue creciendo de noche.” A Teresa de Ávila le llegaron noticias de la catástrofe de la Iglesia con la primera irrupción del Protestantismo. Nada de gestos de espanto y derrota. ¿Qué hacer? “... determiné hacer eso poquito que yo puedo y es en mí, que es seguir los consejos evangélicos con toda perfección que yo pudiese y procurar que estas otras poquitas monjas que están aquí hiciesen lo mismo.”

Nada, pero nada de gestos de espanto y derrota, es cierto que nuestra sociedad está salpicada, como nunca antes, por síntomas depresivos, pero no te olvides que existen alternativas para trabajar el optimismo, dejando de lado la idea de que esto se arregla con la fuerza del poder de voluntad. La alternativa consiste en seguir los consejos evangélicos. Desde niños nos enseñaron que quien no oye consejos nunca llegará a viejo, pues se quedará como un niño, sin madurar, como un niño que no sabe hacerse cargo de su propia vida, porque considera que el dolor esta asociado a lo malo y que el placer esta relacionado con lo bueno, por eso se pasa la vida buscando el placer y evitando el dolor.

El Evangelio de hoy nos cuenta cómo algunas mujeres regresaron al sepulcro, muy temprano, el primer día de la semana. Ellas iban a buscar el cuerpo sin vida de su Maestro, pero lo que encontraron fue una pregunta que les cambió la vida: “¿Por qué buscan ustedes entre los muertos al que está vivo?” Muchas veces, nosotros, como aquellas mujeres, en lugar de levantar nuestra mirada hacia lo que nos propone el Dios de la vida, nos quedamos mirando hacia atrás, hacia nuestros propios sepulcros, sumidos en el espanto y la derrota. Hoy, Dios vuelve a repetirnos: “No está aquí, sino que ha resucitado. Acuérdense de lo que les dijo cuando todavía estaban en Galilea: que el Hijo del hombre tenía que ser entregado en manos de pecadores, que lo crucificarían y que moriría y resucitaría al tercer día.

Por tanto, se les avisa urgentemente a todos los “Locos de alegría, abandonar a toda prisa los sepulcros, trabajando el optimismo y acogiendo la alegría verdadera.”

Let us not forget that "joy is besieged by a giant wave of bad global news and what is worse, an epidemic of pessimism.” “Coca-Cola is not the light of life." We need to work on the construction of a stout joy and optimistic fighter who can resist the attacks of lies and darkness. We do not sleep lazily on the walls of a church where only groans are heard because it does not produce the joy the resurrected Jesus talks about.

"It is true that there is much suffering in the world, even the language smells of gunpowder, and hunger is scourging half of humanity, and the weeds continue to grow at night.” Teresa of Avila received the news of the catastrophe of the Church with the first appearance of Protestantism. She had no gestures of fear and defeat. What to do? "... But do not forget that there are alternatives to create optimism, leaving aside the idea that this is arranged with the force of willpower. The alternative is to follow the evangelical counsels. From childhood we were taught if we do not listen to advice, we never reach maturity because we stay as a child, immature, like a child who cannot take charge of his own life; believing that pain is associated with evil and pleasure is related to good. So many live life seeking pleasure and avoiding pain.

Sunday’s gospel tells us how some women returned to the tomb very early, the first day of the week. They were going to find the lifeless body of their Master, but what they found was a question that changed their lives: "Why do you search among the dead for he who is alive?" Many times, we, like those women, instead of lifting our gaze to what is proposed by the God of life, we look back at our own graves, mired in fear and defeat. Today, God again repeats "He is not here, but has risen.” Remember what he told them when they were still in Galilee that the Son of God must be delivered into the hands of sinners, be crucified and would die and rise on the third day.
